On Novemeber 8th, all graduating football players, Belles, and cheerleaders will be recognized as part of the annual community Senior Night. This Friday at the Kangaroo stadium, these student will be recognized for their participation in events related to the football season. This will also be the last home game of the season.
All graduating students who have been part of Football, Blue Belles, Cheerleaders, and Band will be led through the football tunnel and onto the field at 6:50pm, a little before the game.
“Basically, we’re recognizing the seniors for their hard work and dedication throughout their four years of high school.” football Coach Fikac said.
Around 25 football players, 15 Blue Belles, 9 cheerleaders, and 19 band members will walk down the field escorted by a family member; their name, accompanying family member, and future plans will be announced over the speakers.
“It’ll be bittersweet but cool.” senior football player Matt Gardner said. “We’re growing up, but at the same time a big part of our lives is ending, and something very dear to us is over.”
