What can a club do for you? Hone your communication skills, foster creative thinking, keep you engaged with school and life, and help you learn how to play nice with others.
Plus, it’s fun.
What can you do for a club? Find a like-minded group that shares your love of . . . whatever it is you love. Spread awareness about something you are passionate about.
Here are some clubs you can join.
Weatherford FFA
Mission: To teach youth leadership and advocate capabilities based around promoting agriculture.
Meetings after school.

Chess club
Mission: To compete against each other and teach strategies of chess.
Meets Fridays during lunch, 2nd and 4th Fridays in the Library.
Student Council
Mission: To make a difference in our school!
Meets: during advisory in K 107 or H 104.

Horseshoe Pitching Club
Mission: To play and teach strategies for horseshoes

Weatherford Youth for Equity
Mission: Community service and other acts of kindness.

TSA: Technology Student Association
Mission: The technology student association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Meets: During advisory or by appointment by the teacher

Lair Club
Mission: To have fun and make friends by playing video games, tabletop RPGs, and games like
Dungeons and Dragons.
Quote: No experience needed… Newbies and Veterans alike are welcome!
Meets: In-school club days; Tues, Weds, Thurs after school.

UIL Academics
Mission: Compete in activities including accounting, calculator applications, number sense, computer
science, journalism, science, current events, and more…

National Honor Society
Mission: To honor students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership, service, and character and to promote activities that continue to grow these qualities in our students.
Qualification: 4.0 minimum GPA and high standard of behavior and service.

NTHS – National Technical Honor Society
Mission: To honor students who excel in their CTE courses.
Meets: K213 on Tuesdays

Art Club
Mission: To come together for the enjoyment of creating art
