The Roos, and Lady Roos golf teams had two qualifiers for the Region 1-6A Golf Championship held at Tangle Ridge Golf Club. Two young stars in the Weatherford golf program, sophomore Carter Bruton and freshman Ava Cordary, have made a showing in the 2025 golf season.

Bruton rounded out district with a strong performance, finishing in the top 25 with a two-day total of 152 (+8). He closed out the tournament with a solid 75 (+3) in round two, showcasing consistency and competitive grit. Carter recieved 1st Team All-District honors.

Cordary had an oustanding first season, gaining valuable experience on the regional stage. Competing at this level as a freshman is a major accomplishment. Cordary received 2nd Team All-District honors.
