“WHS DECA takes on ICDC! We’re proud to announce that our WHS DECA chapter recently competed at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida! Our students represented our school with professionalism, enthusiasm, and incredible skill as they competed against thousands of top business and marketing students from around the world.
In addition to their outstanding performances, students also had the chance to enjoy some well-deserved fun at Disney World and Universal Studios, making unforgettable memories and bonding as a team beyond the competition floor.
Congratulations to the following students:
Quinn Stankavage and Asa Dowling for being International Finalists and receiving top-ranked role play in their section. Quinn and Asa are our first ever International Finalists in our school’s history!
Sienna Pendergrass and Maddox Galloway for receiving Gold Level Certification for the Outback Shack in School Based Enterprise in Food Operations.
Mylee Herron and Brennon Walkotten for representing our chapter in the Thrive Academy for Membership Campaign.
Asher Feriend and Nicholas Wallace for representing our chapter in the Thrive Academy for Promotional Campaign.
Congratulations to all participants – you’ve made WHS proud both in and out of the competition!”
