• How are you involved at school?
I am involved in many activities here at Weatherford High School, including the Student National Honor Society, Roo Crew, the Science National Honor Society, and the Technology Student Association.
• What advice do you have for an incoming 9th or 10th grader?
My advice for incoming students is to join every club you find interesting in high school. This has helped me explore my interests and provided me with many unique opportunities that I would have otherwise missed out on.
• What does Roo Nation mean to you?
Roo Nation has been my home for the past twelve years, and it is so much more than a school to me. Roo Nation is a community of dedicated educators and friends that have helped me succeed and grow as a person.
• What has been your favorite memory while at WHS?
My favorite memory I have of WHS is from freshman year when my friends and I all went to Fort Worth to compete in our first TSA competition. We got to see all of the crazy robots other people made, and win first place for our trebuchet creation.
• What are you looking forward to this year?
I am most looking forward to walking the halls of my old school before I graduate, and seeing all of my favorite teachers.
• Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my parents who have not only supported me my entire life, but also inspired me to achieve greatness wherever my life may take me.
• What are your plans after graduation?
After I graduate I plan on attending Texas Tech university to study mechanical engineering.
