What do you get when rain, sleet and snow mixes with freezing temperatures?

A day off.

Or two.

On January 8, the first day back from winter break, the fear of temperatures plummeting into the 20’s with sleet, forced the district to call school for two consecutive days. By Sunday, however, temperatures rose into the 40’s, which put school back on the schedule.

Oh well.
