• How are you involved at school?
I am involved with the school in many ways. I am one of the Varsity Cheer Captains, and I am the Public Relations officer representing the senior class. I am also a two time state powerlifter. Statistically, I should be competing for my third and final year at the state powerlifting meet as well.
• What advice do you have for an incoming 9th or 10th grader?
If I could give any advice to an incoming freshman, and/or sophomore, I would say to be yourself and show who you truly are.
• What does Roo Nation mean to you?
Roo Nation has impacted my life in many ways. Most importantly Weatherford ISD has provided me with a safe environment and my best friends. I consider Roo Nation as my second family.
• What has been your favorite memory while at WHS?
My favorite memories while attending WHS would have to be competing at UIL, and National cheerleading competitions.
• What are you looking forward to this year?
This year I am looking forward to the upcoming musical. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and audition for the musical Shrek, which you all should go see! The dates are December 13th & 14th if you are interested!
• Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration would have to be my parents Melanie and Brandon Schweiss. They push me to do my best in everything I do, and I am forever grateful for them.
• What are your plans after graduation?
After Graduation I would like to attend college. My top two schools are LSU and TCU, and I plan on cheering while in college no matter where I go.

With my busy schedule juggling High School cheer, competition cheer, musical rehearsal, and powerlifting I have learned to keep a positive attitude. Having a positive attitude can help you overcome challenges, stay motivated, and help you find happiness in everyday life. “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference” -Winston Churchill
