On December 10, Weatherford High School will be hosting a Junior World Affairs speaker, Kathy Dorris, from the Ft. Worth Zoo. Ms. Dorris will be speaking about animal outreach.
JWAC advisor Mrs. Barnes believes that this will be a great opportunity for students to learn about the questions faced by the Fort Worth Zoo.
“I expect Ms. Dorris to inform the students about her opinions on actively promoting the suitable adoption of animals,” Barnes said.
Students are looking forward to learning about the animal outreach program at the zoo.
“Wild life is very exciting and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Dorris has to offer of her knowledge on animal outreach,” junior Sarah Mongeon said. “It’s very intriguing.”
All students and staff members are encouraged to join us in Durant for this exciting JWAC speaker.
