Our hearts are heavy today at Weatherford High School as we reflect upon the tragedies that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001. Our nation was forever changed that day as we were forced to face our own vulnerability, and to come together as one people.

Any American who was old enough in 2001 to make concrete memories can recall with an eerie ease what they were doing on that terrible day. We have asked faculty and staff members here at WHS to share their memories of a day that has been so hard to forget, yet so important to remember.
