The induction for the National Technical Honors Society, or NTHS, is being held this Tuesday on February 24th in the high school auditorium. The event is from 6-7 P.M., but the inductees are expected to show up no later than 5:30 P.M. so they can get prepared for the ceremony. We are very proud of the students who have gone above and beyond in their work and we are now honoring them for their hard work and dedication.
Mr. Herring, the NTHS sponsor, is very optimistic for the event. The number of the inductees for this year also much more than previous years with 52 students being inducted. Mr. Herring is also confident that the students being inducted this year will do great at upholding the values that NTHS holds.
“From the communication we have had with the students makes me think that we are going to go the extra mile to make sure we meet the needs of that program,” he stated.
NTHS has been active for 40 years starting in 1984 and has been operating as a nonprofit to honor students in career technical education, and providing students with scholarships and preparing them for their careers. We are very proud of all of the students being inducted into NTHS and we hope the best for them on their chosen paths.
