On a normal school day during lunch Jeuqwan Brownlee was walking around trying to find someone to sit with. While chatting with his friend Blair, he looks across the table noticing that Destiny is staring at him. After lunch was over, Terra Hein and Ruben Molina asked if he really wanted her number. He started texting her right away and he heard from his friends in her art class that she was so excited because she’d never thought this would happen.
“She sat there staring at me and I don’t think she even knew she was,” said Jeuqwan.
If you don’t know this couple’s story yet you best get to knowing it, Destiny and Jeuqwan started dating on May 18, 2015. Destiny is part of the Weatherford Lady Roo Wrestlers where her first period is at the NGC. He went to her second period class right at the beginning of it hoping not to get caught by her while he sets up his prompt. In her chair was a big poster board that read “BE MINE” with a bouquet of flowers, all waiting for her.
“When I got back to the high school there it was. A poster saying BE MINE and flowers,” said Destiny. Waiting patiently by his phone for her big answer he grew nervous and then gets a text from Destiny saying she will.
“He’s awesome. Like its too good to be true,” said Destiny.
When they started dating, the couple never really had a first date. Their first date was really being around the family to get to know them and see how they felt about them. They have gone to the movies here and there Jeuqwan states and have gone to nice restaurants. They learn to motivate and love each other every day. Making each other laugh at least once makes their whole day better. Talking out their problems and having good listening skills makes Destiny love him more. Jeuqwan feels complete now that he has found Destiny and are a couple.
“She always makes me laugh and knowing that she she completes me and I complete her makes me feel great,” Jeuqwan stated.
