What advice do you have for an incoming 9th or 10th grade student?
My best advice for an incoming 9th or 10th grader would be to avoid being too shy or timid to ask questions. Build genuine connections with your teachers and peers and uphold a mindset that is consistently curious and eager to learn. Your success ultimately lies in your desire to help yourself and take advantage of the resources available to you.

What are you looking forward to this year?
This year, I am looking forward to making the best of my series of “lasts.” My last tennis match, last football game, last pep rally, last dance, last year as a Roo. I am working my hardest to be present in every moment and soak up the community around me for the last time around.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspirations are most definitely my family. My parents have taught me what it looks like to maintain a strong work ethic and be respectful and kind in all aspects of life. My two brothers, Cole and Brett, have inspired me to never take things too seriously, laugh a little, and take time for myself. Without them, I would not have nearly as much pride in who I am today.
