On Friday, October 10, Weatherford High School will raise awareness for breast cancer at a “Pink Out” themed pep rally. “Pink out” pep rallies help show support, respect, and compassion for the people that not only fight breast cancer, but also for those who research breast cancer and cures for future victims.
“We have pink bows and we are doing a sassy, feisty, girly theme to show their fight for the cure,” varsity cheerleader Alexa Bennett said.
All students, staff and community members are invited to wear pink to Friday’s pep rally, as well as to the game at 7:30 p.m. when Roo Football will be taking on Arlington Martin.
