Yes, Roos, it’s back to school time again. So long, summer!
WHS and Ninth Grade Center (NGC) will be hosting the annual Roo Walkabout on Thursday, August 13 from 9 am – noon and 3:30 – 6:30 pm.
Students will be able to pick up a paper copy of their schedule including room numbers and teachers’ names (if they have completed the online InfoSnap process). Parking passes can be bought; lockers can be issued.
WHS and NGC will both be open for students to tour and find their classes.
At WHS, the nurse, Chris Brownlee, will also be available to visit. Parker County Hospital District has partnered with WISD to provide vaccines on August 13 at WHS from 3:30 – 6:30 pm. Vaccines are also available from 8 – 5 pm at their clinic located at 1130 Pecan Street. Parents can call them directly for more information at 817-341-2520.
Students’ InfoSnap may be completed on campus that day. Computers will be available for families who would like to complete the process at WHS or NGC.
