February 20, 2015 will be the deadline for all sophomores and juniors to submit their schedule plan for the 2015-2016 school year through the Career Cruising website.

Mrs. Lindsey in the Career Center is currently available to help those who may have questions about the new process.

“CC Pathfinder is a tool used to help students set up their graduation plan,” Lindsey said. “On top of that, they’ll be selecting their courses that will ultimately end up in skyward. Those will be the courses they take the next year. That’s why it is very important they select their courses seriously. Go to ‘Choose My Courses’ and you can choose your classes or change things. Whatever you need to do.”

To access your account, go to www.careercruising.com. The log in is ‘roos-[your lunch number]’ and the password is your first and last initial followed by your lunch number.

This new system is not only expected to be easier for the counselors, but students also see the positive impact of this method.

Sophomore Kimberly Pham said, “I think it’s better because we have more control of when we have specific classes, rather than someone else doing it all for us.”

Students should be sure you have classes submitted by the February 20 deadline. Otherwise the counselors will choose for you.
