On Wednesday, October 15, Weatherford High School will be administering the PSAT. The test will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., and mega lunch will be held after the conclusion of the test.

WHS is expecting to test around 795 students that day, and Testing Coordinator Mrs. Shifflett believes that all testing students with benefit from the experience.

“PSAT is an opportunity for sophomores to practice their skills before taking the test as a junior,” Shifflett said.  “During the junior year, students who participate in the PSAT can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.”

Each student will be provided with a calculator for the test, and room assignments will be posted on Friday in the hallways and Twitter via google docs.
