On Thursday, October 2 Weatherford High School will have an “Animal Print” spirit day to show support of Roo Football as they take on the Paschal Panthers.

WHS students and faculty are invited to wear any animal print clothing that they own, as well as any animal related accessories. Students and staff are both encouraged to get creative in how they show their “wild” school spirit.

“I’m being a lion,” sophomore Jack Bowman said. “You know. Because of my hair.”

The students that decide to wear spirit day related ensembles are always an encouragement to the varsity teams.

“It just shows support to the players,” senior football player Sabin Joshi said. “It feels good to see people supporting us.
