Elvis will be in the building on Friday, April 4th in Durant Auditorium when impersonator Kraig Parker comes to present his show Elvis! to the Weatherford community. The auditorium doors will open to attendees at 6:30 p.m. and Parker will take the stage at 7:30.
The cost of admission will be $15 and tickets can be purchased in the WHS main office, through contacting [email protected]. The proceeds will benefit the 2014 WHS senior prom and the 2014 project graduation celebration.
“It’s going to support the senior class prom,” said class president Josh McDaniel. “It’s more for the community to come out and help us with our fundraising. We had people call from Oklahoma and buy tickets to come see this guy perform!”
Parker has performed as Elvis on stages from London to Las Vegas, and has been embraced worldwide by both fans and friends of Elvis Presley. He has even been joined on stage by many of Elvis’ recording and touring collaborators including the Sweet Inspirations, The Stamp Quartet and The Jordanairs.
Students, parents, staff and community members are all encouraged to come watch Elvis! and to enjoy this nostalgic music while supporting the 2014 WHS seniors.
