There is one special night for the Lady Roo softball team in which the stands get quiet and spectators can feel the emotions running wild through the players saying their last goodbyes to the senior members of the team. This night is more formally known as Senior Night.

“It will start after the Varsity game on Tuesday night at the Lady Roo Softball home field at Shirley Hall Middle School,” Coach Comstock said.

This event serves as an opportunity for the team and fans to honor the players that have put dedication and hard work into the softball program.

“People should come to senior night because we have put four years into a successful program for Weatherford High School, and people should honor that considering it is the last time in our high school career to play on our home field,” senior Caylee Bray said. “It is a bitter sweet game, and enjoyable game to hear about the senior’s goals and plans for the future.”

All students, staff and community members are invited to come out and support the softball team at Senior Night on Tuesday, April 14.
