The Region XI School Employees Blood Bank Scholarship application for $1,000 is available to be picked up in Admin B. This application must be received by April 13 so you will need to gather the materials for your application information quickly.  This scholarship is for seniors who have a desire to pursue an education associated with a health care field.  Students will need to provide a completed application, a copy of their transcript, and letters of recommendation from two references.  Awards will be based on student’s grade point average and financial need.  The deadline for the application is April 13, 2013 and you may pick up an application in Admin B.

Seniors, the Em Strickland Scholarship application is now available in Admin B.  Em Strickland was a counselor at Hall Middle School for many years.  She helped thousands of young people through her work as a school counselor and demonstrated unconditional love for her students and the teachers she worked with.  Em believed in the importance of a college education for all students.  Before she died, Em and her husband, Dr. Ben Strickland, talked about a $500 scholarship for Weatherford High School students to recognize those students who were ready to help those in need and were willing to work to accomplish their dreams.  If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, you will need to fill out an application which is available in Admin B.  You will also need to attach a one page essay about your goals for the future.  The application deadline is April 15, 2013.
