Thursday, November 13 will be the annual Tip-Off Night for the WHS basketball season. The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Gym A.

Tip-Off night will include player introductions, scrimmages, and a charity auction supporting the basketball booster club.

Basketball coach Jordan Coffman believes that this is a great opportunity for the community to support this year’s team.

“Basketball is awesome,” Coach Coffman said. “They can come support our basketball team.”

The players also hope the community will come out and support the team. Senior Braden Riebe pointed out that the funds raised will be used to provide necessary items for the upcoming season.

“People should come support the team and buy raffle tickets,” Riebe said. “The money raised pays for new jerseys and things.”
