The Blue Belles hosted their 35th annual Spring Show, on April 8th and 9th.

‘Blue Belles One’ was a memorable show not only for the Belles, but the other guest performers. The Forever Belles had their own dance, not to mention the reception they were invited to attend before the show. The Kanga singers, Hall Highsteppers, Tison All-stars, middle school officers, and Cheerleaders all performed throughout each night and were remarkable contributions to the show, and its theme of “one-hit wonders.”

Although the night was full of fun and laughter, it was a bittersweet time for many of the girls who would be dancing their last dance as a Blue Belle, and many tears were shed. Jessica Padilla, a freshman, who will not be on the 36th line, said, “it was an unexplainable feeling for it being the last time for me to ever dance with the same group of girls that I’ve grown so much as a dancer with.”

Senior, Bridget Ourada said, “It’s so weird. I can’t believe that the past four years are over. I have enjoyed every moment and this spring show was the best. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!”

At the end of the show, the Belles ended the night with their traditional Last Dance, Curtain Call, and the Ring of Honor, which brought on a feeling of nostalgia for the Forever Belles that attended, and joined. Overall, ‘Blue Belles One’ was an astounding show that created, and brought back memories for all of the people involved!
